Tbh this is one of those scents that instantly clicked for me. The opening has this fizzy ginger thing with a touch of cinnamon that feels warm but not holiday candle warm, thank god. Then the fruit peeks out and makes it super addictive. I keep coming back to my arm because it smells expensive in that effortless Louis Vuitton way. Not sugary, not too woody, not trying to be edgy. Just really, really good. It has a sexy clean aura, kinda like if a spicy-fruity scent got dressed in silk. Projection was strong for the first couple hours and I could still smell it at bedtime. Easy 5 stars from me.
This smells expensive. Like immediately. The neroli pops first on me, then the oud slowly wraps around it and turns creamy, dry, and a little mysterious. There’s also this clean aldehydic lift that keeps it from feeling too dense. I love this because it doesn’t chase the BR540/Delina crowd at all—it has its own personality. Sophisticated, confident, maybe a little aloof, but in a good way. I’d wear this dressed up, but tbh I also throw it on when I just want to smell amazing at home. Strong projection for the first hour or two, then it sits closer but keeps going. Absolute gem.
What I love most here is the contrast. You get this slightly bitter neroli/moss freshness, then the oud comes in smooth and dry underneath. It’s really addictive. Some ouds try way too hard to be intense and end up smelling medicinal or funky. This one doesn’t. It feels controlled, rich, and super wearable while still being unmistakably luxe. I kept smelling my wrist all day. On me it has solid longevity, around 8 hours, with a nice elegant trail for the first half. If you want an oud that feels authentic but not scary, this is such an easy recommendation. Guerlain really nailed it.
What I love here is how smooth everything feels. Nothing is screechy. The peach is soft and plush, the black currant adds a little brightness, and the patchouli in the drydown is super refined. It never goes muddy on me, which fruity-patchouli scents sometimes do. There’s a tiny familiar designer vibe in the airy base, maybe from the ambroxan, but it still smells unique enough to stand out. I wore this to dinner and got two compliments before dessert, so yeah, it works. Not beast mode in a room-filling way, but people around you will notice. Really beautiful if you want something chic that still has personality.
I’m obsessed with how this smells. Oud Khol goes in a different direction than the usual rose-oud thing, and that’s exactly why I love it. I get geranium and moss pretty clearly, which gives it this green, slightly old-school freshness, while the oud underneath keeps it grounded and sexy. It almost reminds me of those refined, tailored fragrances that make you stand up straighter. Not sweet, not loud in an obnoxious way, just super classy. If you like super sugary stuff, this may not be your thing, but for me it’s stunning. Performance is great too—easy all-day wear on skin, longer on clothes.
This is honestly one of the prettiest oud perfumes I’ve tried from a mainstream house. The opening has that airy aldehyde sparkle, then the neroli comes in and keeps everything polished instead of going dark and heavy. The oud is there, for sure, but it feels smooth and expensive, not funky or medicinal. I love that balance. It kinda gives me the vibe of dressed-up vintage Guerlain with a modern edge. Super elegant and weirdly easy to wear for an oud scent. On me it lasts a solid 7-8 hours and projects really nicely for the first couple. Def a 5/5 if you want oud without the usual aggression.
This is gorgeous. I was expecting something louder, but eLVes feels really polished and expensive without trying too hard. The ginger and cinnamon give it this sparkly spicy kick up top, then that soft peach comes through and keeps it from going dry or boring. On my skin the ambroxan in the base makes everything glow for hours. It kinda gives me that modern airy luxury vibe without smelling like every other clean designer release. Lasts a solid 7-8 hours on me with noticeable projection for the first few. Super easy to wear, but still special enough that people ask what it is. Def one of those perfumes that makes you keep sniffing your wrist.
This is really beautiful. I get a smooth blackberry vibe up top, then incense and a warm amber/woody thing that makes it feel super expensive. It’s kinda like the original Jubilation Man got polished and dressed up for a black tie event. I love how dense it is without turning muddy. Only minor issue for me is that it can feel a little too formal, like not something I’d just throw on for errands. Performance is great though, easy all day on skin and even longer on clothes. Def a special occasion scent for me, but a very satisfying one.
Not gonna lie, this smells amazing, just a bit serious. The incense is the star on my skin, with some resinous amber and a dark fruity touch that keeps it from going full church mode. It reminds me a little of older Amouage stuff where everything feels layered and rich, but this one is smoother and easier to wear. I love this in cooler weather or at night. Minor flaw: projection is not beast mode for the price, at least on me, and I expected a little more punch. Still, the quality is obvious and it sticks around a solid 8+ hours.
This one surprised me. I expected something heavier from the cinnamon and patchouli combo, but it’s actually pretty airy and refined. The ginger keeps it lifted, and the patchouli in the base is super clean, not earthy or dirty at all. I love that because patchouli can go wrong fast on me. It feels modern, almost like if a fruity-spicy scent got the luxury minimalist treatment. Not beast mode, which I’m honestly fine with. It projects nicely for a bit, then stays close and personal. Minor flaw: I wish the opening lasted longer because that’s the best part. Still, really easy to reach for and feels put together.
Jubilation 40 Man smells good, no question. I get myrrh, woods, and a soft spicy sweetness that kinda reminds me of a more restrained niche version of something like Jubilation XXV, just cleaner and less dramatic. The quality is there and it feels really refined, almost formal. My issue is that it's a little boring after the first hour. It stays close enough to feel classy, but I wish it had more character or push. Not bad at all for special occasions or cooler weather, just not something I reach for when I want to be excited by a fragrance. Decent, but nothing special for me.
This is one of those fragrances that makes me go wow on first spray. The aldehydes give it that old-school sparkle, but then the oud keeps it grounded and modern. There’s also a touch of geranium that adds this crisp, aromatic edge I really enjoy. It feels very Guerlain to me: elegant, detailed, and smooth from start to finish. I wouldn’t call it office friendly unless you go light, but for evenings or dressed-up daytime it’s amazing. Super memorable without smelling weird for the sake of being niche. Lasts really well too. Honestly, 5 stars from me with zero hesitation.
I love this because it feels high-end and wearable at the same time. The black currant hits me first, juicy and a little tart, then the patchouli gives it some depth without turning it earthy or heavy. There’s also this clean ambroxan glow underneath that keeps it modern. If Delina had a less rosy, more sleek cousin who traveled first class, maybe somewhere in that lane but not a dupe at all. Performance is really good too, around 6-7 hours and enough projection that I notice it through the day. Honestly hard to find anything to complain about here. It just smells classy, confident, and really put together.
This might actually be my fave Louis Vuitton release in a while. It has that clean luxury DNA, but the cinnamon and ginger give it more character than a lot of polished fruity-musky stuff. The peach note is so well done too, not syrupy, not shampoo-y, just smooth and luminous. It reminds me a little of the modern ambroxan-heavy style that’s everywhere now, except this feels richer and more intentional. I’ve worn it in the daytime and at night and it works both ways, which I really appreciate at this price point. Lasted about 8 hours on me with a nice scent trail early on. Super recommend if you want something refined but still a little playful.
I really like this. The opening gives me this juicy peach thing with a little ginger kick, and then the ambroxan smooths it out in a clean, slightly modern way. It feels polished without being boring. Kinda has that expensive LV glow, but it’s not trying to be loud or weird just for attention. My only small issue is the drydown gets a bit samey after a few hours, like the spark from the top fades and it becomes more generic. Still, I kept smelling my wrist. Lasted around 6-7 hours on me with decent projection for the first couple. Super easy to wear and def gets compliments.
Tbh this is very good, just not mind-blowing for me. I get black currant first, then a soft cinnamon warmth underneath that makes it feel cozy without going full spicy. It’s classy and easy, the kind of scent you can wear to dinner or the office and not annoy anyone. I love how smooth it is. But for Louis Vuitton money, I wanted a little more personality. It kinda reminds me of those designer fragrances that smell instantly likable but don’t fully stick in your memory. Performance is solid though, around 6 hours and sits closer to the skin after the opening. Still a very nice wear.
This is nice, just not in the life-changing Amouage way people hype it up to be. I get a polished incense-amber thing with a little fruity sweetness in the opening, and it does smell expensive. Super smooth, no rough edges. But tbh it also feels a bit too controlled on my skin, like it never really opens up into anything memorable. I kept waiting for that wow moment and it never came. Performance is solid though, easy 8+ hours, and it sits in that elegant, dressed-up lane without being loud. I don't dislike it at all. I just think for the price and the name, I wanted more personality.
This is totally fine, just not something I’d rave about. The opening has a spicy little kick from the cinnamon and ginger, then I get a fruity black currant thing that’s pleasant but kinda generic. After that it settles into that clean ambroxan/patchouli base that feels very designer-luxury, if that makes sense. Not bad at all, just doesn’t really have a wow moment for me. It wears pretty smoothly and would be easy to use, especially if you want something polished without being loud. Performance is decent, around 6 hours on me, but for Louis Vuitton I expected a bit more personality tbh.
Tbh this was a letdown for me. I was hoping the ginger and peach would make it feel sparkly and juicy, but on my skin it turns weirdly sharp almost right away. Then the ambroxan comes in and gives that dry, synthetic cloud that just sits there and doesn’t really evolve. I kept waiting for something softer or more interesting, but it mostly stayed flat and a little screechy. Kinda reminds me of those modern fruity-musky designer scents, just more expensive. Performance is decent, like 6 hours, but that’s not enough to save it when I’m not enjoying the smell. For Louis Vuitton money, this feels really underwhelming.
Tbh this was a letdown for me. I was expecting something rich and majestic, but the opening just feels dense in a bad way. I get a lot of incense and a dry woody vibe, with a little fruit peeking through, but it never really comes together. It smells expensive, sure, but also kinda stuffy and overly serious, like a scent trying way too hard to be important. For a 40 concentration I wanted more smoothness and depth, not this cloudy wall of resin. Performance is strong, I’ll give it that, but wearing it wasn’t enjoyable. Definitely not bad quality, just really not my thing, especially at this price.
